For walking, hiking and climbing enthusiasts, the area boasts 650 km of marked walking and hiking trails and via ferrata routes covering all levels of difficulty. A Nordic Walking & Running Arena with a 266 km-long network of marked trails, over 200 km of cycling and mountain biking tracks, 2 golf courses, an indoor tennis centre and 17 outdoor courts, riding facilities, 2 modern leisure pools and 3 bathing lakes are all available for your enjoyment. The area has plenty to offer for paragliders, kayakers and footballers, while the Nordic Competence Centre caters for skaters and biathletes.


The plateau of Seefeld offers an incomparably wide range of possibilities for mountaineers. Picturesque cottages and alps are distributed everywhere in the mountains, the view high above the clouds is marvellous, peace up there is uncomparable, far from all the turmoil in the valley. The peaks ‘Seefelderspitze’ and ‘Reitherspitze’ in Seefeld, the wonderfully picturesque nature of the valley ‘Gaistal in Leutasch and the canyon ‘Glairschklamm’ nearby Scharnitz are natural treasures of a very special kind! Outdoor pools and lakes

The idyllic lake ‘Wildsee’ in Seefeld is surrounded by moor landscape and reed, which is under a special environmental protection, is proud to have two outdoor pools and also offers a beautiful adventure playground.

The lake ‘Möserersee’ is a little secret: in the midst of the forest you can enjoy the summer in tranquility and with pleasant temperatures. You will be deilighted by the picturesque landscape surroundings the lake ‘Möserersee’ with its water lillies and its bundle of reeds.


Almost everything you can expect here, is reachable by bike! Especially on long tours it is possible to cycle one part. A good condition is necessary, because you have to go uphills again and again. There are very beautiful cycling paths to Mösern, Reith, to Scharnitz through the forest and in Leutasch the valley ‘Gaistal’ is favoured a lot!


You need half an hour to get to Ötztal Bahnhof from Seefeld: We recommend the canyon ‘Imster Schlucht’ for rafting with an experienced guide. You can also do an advanturous day in the event- and adventurepark Area 47. The Raft-College for beginners is offered here, you find information below:




The golf course ‘Wildmoos’ is one of the most beautiful ones in the whole Alps, it is a natural treasure, embedded in forests, hills and grassland with the mountains in the background, a feast for the eyes. Also the golf academy in Seefeld with its 9 holes is well established; you have a fantastic view over the surrounding mountains, this way it is easy to hit the golf balls


Also tennis fans are well placed in Seefeld! There are outdoor tennis courts of the tennis club Seefeld by the football/soccer field, direction Mösern; just very closed by there is the WM hall with the indoor tennis courts.

The tennis school ESTESS was founded in 1985 in Seefeld by Håkan Dahlbo Dr.Sc. and is successfully busy since then. Highly qualified tennis instructors and trainers supervise beginners and advanced.
